We are hiring a skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant (PA) to join an Inpatient Internal Medicine team in New York. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team to manage hospitalized patients with diverse acute and chronic conditions. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical skills, a proactive approach to patient care, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, formulate diagnoses, and initiate treatment plans
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests (labs, imaging)
• Prescribe medications and perform minor procedures as credentialed
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other team members to coordinate care
• Participate in daily rounds and discharge planning
• Document accurately in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
• Ensure regulatory compliance and high-quality, patient-centered care

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited PA program (Master?s preferred)
• NCCPA certification
• Active, unrestricted PA license in New York State
• DEA registration
• 1?2 years of experience in an inpatient or hospitalist medicine setting
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and EHR proficiency
