Job Title: Physician Assistant

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

To perform this role successfully, the physician must be able to carry out each essential duty with competence and professionalism:

• Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations
• Order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests
• Implement evidence-based treatment plans
• Refer to specialists or obtain consults when cases fall outside scope of practice
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with patients, providing education and support
• Maintain high standards of care through peer review and quality improvement participation
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coverage during evenings, weekends, and after-hours
• Comply with all relevant regulations, including Title 22 and infectious disease protocols

Qualifications

• Valid and active California Medical License
• DEA registration and current CPR certification
• Completion of required CME hours
• Ability to oversee mid-level providers within regulatory guidelines
• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical decision-making skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $145,000.00 - $160,000.00 per year
