Roles & Responsibilities:

· Perform thorough patient evaluations in order to develop accurate assessments and treatment plans

· Ensure treatment plans are safe and efficacious

· Discuss treatment plans with the patient ensuring clear understanding

· Provide compassionate and respectful patient care

· Document patient care using the EMR in an effective and timely manner

· Provide ongoing health maintenance, health education, and disease prevention periodic screening for patients

· Provides patient education regarding disease processes and good health habits

· Orders and evaluates appropriate laboratory and imaging studies

· Remains current on Continuing Medical Education and maintains licensure in good standing

· Maintains current prescriptive authority license, OBNDD and DEA number

· Maintains a current knowledge of Nurse Practitioner formulary and prescribes medications within the limits of the formulary

· Interacts effectively with patients, families, team members and others

· Completes delegated activities and projects within appropriate time span

Qualifications & Education Requirements:

· Board Certified Physician's Assistant or Certified Nurse Practitioner in the state of Oklahoma, required

· Current BLS/CPR certification required

· Demonstrated ability to work effectively with staff and the public

· Good oral and written communication skills

· Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects

· Professional appearance and demeanor

· Required to maintain a high level of confidentiality

Preferred Skills:

· Excellent listening, speaking, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to build and maintain trusting relationship with patients

· Ability to identify diseases and other health conditions based on clinical interviews, physical examinations, and lab tests, and subsequently provide treatment plans

· Ability to enter patient information into EMR timely and accurately

· EMR proficiency

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $105,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
