Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Locum Nurse Practitioner/ Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular/Cardiothoracic Surgery for our client in North Carolina!

Responsibilities:

• Provide inpatient vascular surgery coverage, including consults, daily rounding, and patient management
• Assist with cath lab and operating room procedures in collaboration with surgeons
• Conduct outpatient clinic visits (if experienced in vascular surgery) for routine care and postoperative follow-ups
• Manage a patient schedule of 6?12 visits per day, with 30-minute appointment slots

Qualifications:

• Board-certified or board-eligible physician or advanced practice provider
• Experience in vascular surgery preferred
• Active and unrestricted medical license

Schedule:

• Weekday shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
• Shifts range from 4 to 10 hours
• Outpatient clinic hours from 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (if applicable)
• Flexible weekly recurring schedule with variable coverage days

Skills:

• Strong clinical knowledge in vascular surgery and related procedures
• Ability to manage inpatient and outpatient care effectively
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
• Proficiency in patient management and postoperative follow-up care

All travel expenses are reimbursed by our client and Orchard covers malpractice insurance with tail coverage!

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $175.00 - $195.00 per hour
