Location: Bend, OR (Deschutes County)
Schedule: 4x10s (Tues?Fri) + alternating Saturday mornings
Join a dedicated team delivering high-quality care in a fast-paced, employer-sponsored health clinic setting. We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a 13-week contract assignment in Bend, Oregon. This role supports a family medicine and occupational health clinic, with a small floating requirement to a nearby juvenile detention center clinic for routine physicals and minor medical needs.
Position Highlights:
Contract Dates: June 16, 2025 ? September 8, 2025
Schedule: 4 ten-hour days (typically Tues?Fri), 7:00 AM ? 6:00 PM with 1-hour lunch
Saturday Coverage: Alternate 1st and 3rd Saturdays, 7:00 AM ? 12:00 PM
Float: 2?4 hours/week at nearby Juvenile Detention Center
Patient Population: Ages 2 and up for family medicine; juvenile patients for basic care and required exams
Key Responsibilities:
Provide primary care, chronic disease management, and preventive services
Deliver occupational health services, including injury care and return-to-work evaluations
Conduct DOT physicals (must be DOT certified)
Perform minor procedures and point-of-care testing (training provided if needed)
Collaborate with onsite staff and alternate provider to support clinic operations
Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with clinical protocols
Qualifications:
Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Oregon
Minimum 3 years of experience in family practice and chronic disease management
Experience in occupational health and workers' compensation cases
Current DOT certification required
Comfortable seeing pediatric patients age 2+
Venipuncture and CLIA-waived lab testing skills preferred (or willingness to train)
CPR/BLS certification from AHA required
