Industrial Engineer

Analyze manufacturing processes to identify inefficiencies and labor-intensive activities. Develop and implement plans for improvement.

Job Responsibilities/Key Accountabilities:

• Analyze, develop, and implement process improvements and technological upgrades that maximize efficiency and reduce waste.
• Perform ergonomic studies to develop and implement safer and easier work methods.
• Conduct Value Stream Mapping and develop actionable strategies to improve processes.
• Develop design and production standards in cooperation with management and user personnel.
• Design the layout of facilities and determining personnel requirements.
• Monitor production flows and recommend optimal solutions for production flow.
• Train staff for new processes and provide procedures, instructions, and manuals.
• Self-motivated, open minded, detail-oriented individual
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Job Requirements/Knowledge and Experience:

• Advanced use of Excel, Word and other Microsoft products.
• Background in Lean and 5S principles
• Strong math skills and ability to perform structural calculations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements/Degree(s):

• Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering
