Job Description: Industrial Project Manager
Basic Work schedule to expect with fluctuations
6am – 5pm 10-11 hrs. per day
Weekend and Nights required occasionally
Project Manager reports to the General Manager or his designee, with the scheduling/coordinating of daily jobs also working with Safety/Training and Office Manager.
Daily Steps:
- Project Manager reports to 6am Management meeting; Helps get crews out and resolve operational delays.
- Throughout the day, All Field Supervisors and Project Management report jobs to the Operations Coordinator. Provide detailed worksheets to the operations coordinator for all your scheduled jobs.
- Must have ability to think strategically when making decisions of what equipment and which Field Techs/Supervisor to assign job
- Oversee the field operations for various jobs and outages as assigned by the General Manager ensuring that field supervision is working smart, safely, efficiently, productively with top quality results. Verifies that equipment is being utilized correctly for the job task and maintained efficiently.
- Provide customer relations and develop corrective actions for performance related issues. Make a weekly visit with all system owners at various industrial plant sites to ensure Ranger is providing quality service.
- Support Ranger Site Representative with outages and outages planning initially for customer sites as assigned by the General Manager.
- Pursue new business lines within the industrial industry. Cooperate with sales initiatives and provide reporting.
- Provide General Manager and Business Development Director with weekly progress on new opportunities.
- Work with management team to provide estimates for new business.
- Make frequent visits to the field to better understand Ranger's line of work and how we accomplish a variety of jobs. Provide technical support to critical path jobs.
- Perform safety audits regularly.
- Provide coaching and training to supervisors and employees.
- Review field tickets for accuracy, PO numbers and signatures. Work with billing department to ensure invoices you are responsible for are correct before invoiced.

Qualifications:
Candidate must be motivated, dependable, and capable of working without direct supervision.
5 years' experience managing in an industrial/construction setting
BA Degree preferred
Must possess a valid driver's license and pass a background check
Proficient in Microsoft office
