Job Details:

• Minimum 2 years of operating room experience required
• Neurosurgery experience required - candidates without neuro experience will not be considered
• Additional experience required in trauma, ortho, and robotics
• EPIC charting system experience required
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC only)
• Patient ratio of 1:1 for all shifts
• Must be able to function independently in neurosurgery procedures
• Care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Weekend coverage required with 2 weekend call shifts every 6 weeks
• Call requirements: 1-2 calls per week (Monday-Thursday) with 30-minute callback response time
• Holiday coverage on call basis per department need
• Maximum 7 days requested time off per contract
• First time travelers not accepted
• Travel experience required
• Must complete 5-6 hours of pre-start modules
• Skills include craniotomy, spinal fusions, trauma care, minimally invasive surgery, and various neurosurgical procedures
• Tobacco and fragrance free facility
• COVID-19 and flu vaccines required with exemptions allowed
