Dock Forklift Operator

This position is responsible for loading/Unloading materials from dock trailers, in a safe manner.

There are 2 available shifts for this position, Monday-Friday, 10 hrs/day, 50 hrs/week:

1A - 5:00AM-3:30PM

1B - 8:00AM-6:30PM

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Adhere to company programs, policies, and procedures while completing work tasks
• Loads/Unloads materials from dock trailers, in a safe manner
• Materials are stored/placed in the appropriate warehouse location for further processing
• Scale all materials during the loading/unloading process for load accuracy
• May need to complete minimal paperwork regarding load counts, and quantities
• Safely operate sit-down propane forklift
• Miscellaneous duties as assigned

• Ability to work overtime - 10 hrs/day and 50 hrs/week
• Forklift experience which includes, but is not limited to moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting materials.
• Perform equipment inspections and ensure all related reports follow state and federal regulations
• Report all equipment deficiencies or malfunctions requiring maintenance

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Warehouse setting exposed to outside weather conditions, wet and/or humid conditions, and cold/hot temperatures.
• Exposed to normal work hazards, including a variety of physical conditions, moving vehicles, and machines.
• Fast-paced manufacturing environment with some allergen products.
