Position Summary
The Sales Support Representative plays a key role in building and maintaining customer relationships while ensuring smooth order handling and service delivery. This position focuses on outreach, communication, customer guidance, and accurate documentation to support overall sales activity. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator with a customer-first mindset and the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Reach out to both new and established contacts to introduce available products and services.
Respond to customer inquiries regarding available items, order details, and general support needs.
Gather key information from customers to understand requirements and guide them toward suitable options.
Maintain up-to-date records of customer activity and account details.
Stay informed about changes in customer behavior or market conditions to support team decision-making.
Discuss pricing, service levels, and order terms when appropriate.
Provide internal partners with relevant insights to keep teams aligned.
Review product details regularly and stay informed about updates.
Submit and process customer orders through phone, email, and internal digital systems.
Perform additional tasks assigned by leadership as needed.
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
Strong verbal communication skills
Clear and professional written communication
Ability to build customer relationships
Customer service orientation
Professional handling of difficult or sensitive situations
Basic numerical skills
Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Preferred Qualifications
Bilingual English and Spanish
Experience in a customer-facing or sales-oriented environment
