Your Role
As a Shipping Clerk/Forklift Operator, you’ll handle both incoming and outgoing goods, track inventory, and maintain compliance with food safety standards. You’ll work closely with operations and logistics teams to ensure every shipment moves with accuracy, urgency, and care.
Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality
- Prepare, pack, label, and document outgoing shipments to meet transport and regulatory standards
- Operate forklifts and pallet jacks safely to move inventory across the warehouse
- Utilize warehouse management systems to track stock locations and process orders
- Perform picking, packing, and staging tasks to ensure timely order fulfillment
- Support routine inventory counts and audits
- Maintain a clean, organized workspace that aligns with GMP, HACCP, and OSHA protocols
- Communicate effectively with internal teams to resolve shipping discrepancies
- Must meet attendance and punctuality expectations, with reasonable accommodations and exceptions as required by law
- Occasionally lift items up to 55 lbs. and support other duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred
- Minimum 3+ years of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations in a manufacturing plant environment
- Valid CA driver's license and forklift certification
- Strong initiative and problem-solving skills; able to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive, team-oriented attitude
- Demonstrates punctuality and reliability in attendance
- Maintains focus and adaptability in fast-paced manufacturing settings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Working knowledge of GMP, HACCP, and warehouse safety procedures
- Computer and telephone proficiency for tracking shipments and assisting logistics inquiries
- Strong focus and attention to detail under pressure
- Other duties assigned and required
Schedule & Compensation
- 8-hour shifts, Monday–Friday with overtime as needed and some Saturday work
- Hourly Pay: $17.00 – $21.00, depending on experience
- Location: On-site role at our Orange, CA and Anaheim, CA facility
