Responsibilities

• Engage with customers face-to-face at residential areas, events, and storefront locations to introduce SimpliSafe’s home security products and services.
• Educate customers on system features, installation processes, and monitoring options in a clear and friendly manner.
• Provide real-time support by answering questions, addressing concerns, and helping customers choose the best home security package for their needs.
• Assist with basic troubleshooting or product demonstrations to ensure customers feel confident and informed.
• Handle escalated concerns with professionalism, using effective communication and conflict-resolution skills.
• Maintain accurate notes on customer interactions, leads, and follow-ups to support team goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams—including sales managers and technical support—to ensure a smooth customer experience.
• Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a secure, professional environment during customer interactions.

Experience

• Previous customer service, retail, hospitality, or face-to-face sales experience.
• Experience or interest in home security, smart-home technology, or related products.
• Background in security services, military, or law enforcement is a plus but not required.
• Strong verbal communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently, stay organized, and maintain a positive attitude in a customer-focused setting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, combined with active listening, will help you build rapport with a wide range of customers.
