We are seeking to hire an Insurance Administrative Assistant to support the management of health, workers’ compensation, liability, and other insurance programs for building employees. This role involves assisting with claims processing, policy administration, and maintaining accurate records to ensure compliance with company and legal requirements. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to communicate effectively with employees, brokers, and insurance providers.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in the administration of health, workers' compensation, liability, and other insurance policies for building employees.

• Support the processing of insurance claims by gathering necessary documentation, coordinating with employees, and following up with insurance providers and legal teams.

• Maintain accurate records of insurance policies, claims, and related documents to ensure timely processing and compliance.

• Help review and track insurance policies to ensure they meet company needs and comply with legal requirements.

• Assist in coordinating with insurance brokers and providers for policy renewals, updates, and changes.

• Provide employees with information and support regarding insurance coverage, claims procedures, and policy benefits.

• Monitor insurance-related deadlines and ensure timely submissions of required forms and reports.

• Stay updated on changes in insurance policies and industry regulations to support compliance and best practices.

• Respond to insurance-related inquiries from employees and management, escalating complex issues as needed.

• Perform other administrative tasks as required to support insurance-related functions.

 

Requisites

· Bi-lingual (English-Spanish) preferred

· High school Degree or equivalent with some college

· At least 1 year of insurance experience

· Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel

· Able to multitask and work independently

· Remain extremely organized and be able to meet multiple deadlines
