As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a government location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and maintain a secure environment. You will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and deliver outstanding customer service while communicating with visitors and staff. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential issues.
• Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential security-related incidents at the government location.
• Assist visitors and employees by providing information and directions as needed.
• Complete required documentation and reports in accordance with Allied Universal policies and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred and may be completed post hire.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
