Job Title: Autonomous Test Technician

Job Description

The Autonomous Test Technician plays a crucial role in supporting test operations by setting up fixtures, components, and machines for engineering tests needed for the development or evaluation of components, systems, and machines. The technician also participates in the construction and maintenance of test roads.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures, components, and machines for engineering tests.
• Participate in the construction and maintenance of test roads.
• Assemble and disassemble machines.
• Diagnose and repair electrical system failures on machines.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical skills.
• Experience as a diesel mechanic.
• Ability to troubleshoot engineering issues.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in a relevant technical field such as Maintenance or Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Previous experience in construction or mining maintenance is preferred.
• Experience operating haul trucks, loaders, dozers, graders, and/or other equipment is required.

Work Environment

The work is conducted at the proving grounds located in Green Valley. This large facility houses several large mining trucks. The environment offers opportunities to learn and grow within the field of large mining equipment.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sahuarita, AZ.

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $34.00/hr.

This is a fully onsite position in Sahuarita,AZ.
