Associate Attorney

Joining Brown Immigration Law as an Associate Attorney affords you the opportunity to provide strategic mobility solutions to the most innovative and rapidly growing companies in the world. Brown Immigration Law focuses solely on delivering successful business immigration outcomes to a wide variety of startups and established businesses located in top global financial centers, including New York City and the Bay Area. Together, we provide a full array of legal services to employers pursuing visas and permanent residence for foreign nationals. Our approach is to make the complex, simple - by handling the details so our clients may realize their dreams.


Responsibilities in this role:

  • Develop an extensive understanding of our client base, industries served, and global mobility solutions
  • Determine the optimal immigration strategy tailored for your clients needs
  • Perform legal research and due diligence within the rapidly evolving immigration landscape
  • Draft, review, and file all types of Nonimmigrant Visas and Permanent Residence Applications
  • Advise and mentor HR Departments of startups and established businesses on best practices
  • Lead client meetings, townhalls, presentations and proposal responses
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners to resolve complex issues
  • Mentor a team of paralegals and facilitate the hiring and retention of top talent for Silicon Valleys finest


Qualifications:

Required

  • Juris Doctor from an Accredited University
  • Bar Admittance in any state
  • Strong written and oral communicator
  • Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Detail-oriented, results driven
  • A positive outlook, rivaled only by a passion for helping others

Preferred

  • Prior experience in immigration or employment law
  • Demonstrated track record of leadership capability
  • Entrepreneurial spirit that resonates with our clients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
