Somerset Auto Repair is looking for a sharp, detail-driven Parts Manager / Customer Service Rep who can work fast on a computer, negotiate pricing, and keep jobs moving. If you know how to hunt down the right parts, compare vendors, and get great pricing without slowing the shop down — this is your spot.

What You’ll Actually Be Doing (Day-to-Day)??? Heavy Computer Work
  • Navigating multiple parts catalogs and supplier portals

  • Comparing pricing, availability, and delivery times

  • Managing purchase orders, returns, and tracking numbers

  • Updating repair orders inside the shop management system

  • Communicating with customers by text/email using templates

?? Negotiation & Vendor Management
  • Calling vendors to negotiate better pricing

  • Building relationships with suppliers to speed up delivery

  • Shopping parts across multiple sources to stay competitive

  • Tracking core returns and credit memos

?? Customer Experience
  • Helping customers with updates, questions, and scheduling

  • Keeping communication clear, friendly, and professional

  • Supporting the front office with check-ins and paperwork

?? Shop Flow Support
  • Making sure technicians have the correct parts when they need them

  • Managing special orders and backordered parts

  • Keeping parts organized, labeled, and trackable

What We’re Looking For
  • Strong computer skills — must be fast, accurate, and able to manage multiple systems at once

  • Strong negotiation / price-shopping ability — you’re confident calling vendors and getting deals

  • Experience in auto parts, service writing, or office admin (preferred but not required for the right person)

  • Excellent communication and customer service skills

  • Organized, detail-focused, and able to multitask

  • Shows up, follows through, no drama
