Employee Daycare Teacher

The Employee Daycare Teacher is responsible for providing nurturing, safe, and developmentally appropriate environment for infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. This role includes implementing engaging age-appropriate activities, supporting daily care routines, and maintaining open communication with parents and guardians to foster a strong partnership in the child's development.

Job Responsibilities/Duties

• Provide attentive and compassionate care to children, including feeding, diapering, rest time, and hygiene routines, with sensitivity to each child's needs and preferences.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities,ensuring their safety and well-being at all times maintaining a clean, organized and child-friendly environment.
• Plan and facilitate learning experiences such as storytelling, music, play, and age-appropriate educational activities.
• Assist with feeding, diapering, and toilet training as needed.
• Maintain organized classroom materials and supplies to support learning and creativity.
• Work collaboratively with fellow daycare staff to promote a positive and cohesive team culture.
• Communicate effectively and professionally with parents and guardians to provide updates on their child's progress and well-being.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support the ministry and its objectives.

Education /Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a daycare or early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of child development milestones and best practices in early education.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification required.

• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with children and team members.
• Physical ability to sit, stand, bend, lift, and engage in play activities, throughout the day
• Commitment to professional growth and staying informed about early childhood education practices.
