Key ResponsibilitiesAddress participant questions, concerns, and complaints; consult with the WIC Coordinator as needed.
Support an efficient assessment and education process; communicate proactively with clients regarding wait times.
Review and approve medical documentation forms in consultation with healthcare providers.
Lead planning, facilitation, and evaluation of participant-centered nutrition education, including individual, family, and group sessions—especially for high-risk participants requiring advanced nutrition expertise.
Travel to outreach or satellite sites as needed; assist with loading, unloading, and driving the WIC van.
Provide support as a Nutrition Assistant when required, including verification of categorical, residential, and income eligibility for WIC participants and entering information into NYWIC
Salary Range: $25.00–$26.00 per hour
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8-hour shift (1-hour unpaid lunch)
Bachelor’s Degree in Nutrition.
1–3 years of experience working with a diverse population.
