CT Tech - Radiology / Cardiology Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay 4x10-Hour Shift: 11:00 AM - 9:00 PM; every other weekend and holidays as needed.
Job DescriptionThe CT Tech will be responsible for operating computerized tomography (CT) equipment to produce images that assist in diagnosis and treatment within the Radiology / Cardiology departments. Candidates should expect to care for patients, including those confirmed for COVID.
Responsibilities- Perform CT scans as per protocols established by the department.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure high-quality imaging results.
- Maintain cleanliness and order in the CT area, ensuring all equipment is properly calibrated and functioning.
- Document patient information and imaging results accurately in the electronic health system (EPIC).
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a CT Tech.
- BLS and ARRT certifications required.
- Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is essential.
