Job Description
We are looking for a highly motivated person who possesses strong written and spoken communication skills in English, and preferably Spanish, but not required. Prior customer service experience is a plus but is not required. The location for this position is at our Oceanside facility and requires traveling to other US states to attend 3 to 4-day trade shows several times a year.
The Customer Service Representative will assist customers who walk into the storefront, and receive customer calls, and respond to emails and customers who contact the company by way of live chat. Other duties include processing online orders by picking items, printing shipping labels and packaging the items for carrier pickup. Duties that trade shows involve assisting customers with dance shoe fitting and completing sales.
Qualifications and Skills
- Strong Computer Skills and proficient with applications/programs such as Google Docs/Sheets, Excel, Outlook
- Excellent customer service and communication skills (both verbal and written)
- Excellent grammar and spelling
- willingness to travel across the United States for 3 to 4-day trade show events (room, food and travel expenses are paid by the company )
- Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- patience and keen ability to address customer issues by way of phone, email, and social media
