Part -Time Position
Summary:
The Universal Representative is responsible for providing comprehensive financial services to credit union members. This role involves a wide range of duties, including member transactions, loan processing, product sales, and member service. The ideal candidate will possess strong interpersonal skills, a solid understanding of financial products, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.

Knowledge and Skills:
- Experience
- Six months to two years of similar or related experience.
- Education
- Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED
- Skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, internet, and data-base management
- Ability to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, and the public.
- Ability to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities:
- Member Transactions
- Efficiently process a variety of transactions, including deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and money orders.
- Accurately maintain member account information.
- Balance cash drawers and complete daily transaction reports.
- Loan Processing
- Conduct loan interviews and gather necessary documentation.
- Process loan applications and closings.
- Cross-sell loan-related products and services.
- Member Service
- Provide excellent customer service by actively listening to member needs and offering tailored solutions.
- Assist members with account openings, closings, and maintenance.
- Advise members on credit union products and services.
- Resolve member inquiries and concerns.
- Product Sales
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and proactively promote relevant products and services.
- Educate members on the benefits of various financial products.
- Meet or exceed sales goals.
- Operational Duties
- Perform miscellaneous tasks such as ordering checks, processing wire transfers, and resetting passwords.
- Stay up to date on credit union policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
- Represent the credit union at events, conferences, and other functions as needed.
Performance Measurements:
- Member satisfaction and retention.
- Achievement of sales and referral goals.
- Accuracy and efficiency in processing transactions.
- Adherence to compliance regulations and internal procedures.
- Positive contribution to team performance.
Physical Requirements:
- Constantly repeating motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers. This includes but may not be limited to keyboarding, writing, and filing.
- Constantly remaining in a stationary position, often sitting for prolonged periods.
- Occasionally adjusting or moving objects up to 75 pounds for various needs.
- The person in this position constantly communicates in person and in writing with members, managers, and colleagues. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
- The ability to observe details at close range to assess the accuracy, neatness, and thoroughness of the work assigned.
