School Nurse Needed - January Start K - 12 Health Room

Nursing degree, active registered nurse (RN) license and minimum 1+ years RN experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Overview:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated School Nurse (RN) to support student health and wellness within a New Mexico school district. The RN will provide direct care, health management, and collaboration with school teams to maintain a safe learning environment.

Responsibilities:

• Deliver routine and emergency medical care to students.

• Administer medications and treatments per district and physician guidelines.

• Maintain accurate and compliant health records.

• Communicate with families, staff, and district teams regarding student health needs.

• Support chronic condition management and individualized health plans.

• Promote wellness and preventative health practices on campus.

Requirements:

• Active RN license in the state of New Mexico.
• New Mexico Educator Certification.

• CPR certification required, Medication Admin Experince.

• Previous pediatric or school-based nursing experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organization, and clinical judgment
