We're seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology (IR) Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Morgantown, West Virginia. This role is ideal for a skilled technologist with strong Neuro IR experience who is also comfortable supporting Body/Vascular IR procedures in a busy Level I acute care environment.

\n

Responsibilities\n

\n
• Assist physicians during a wide variety of Neuro, Vascular, and Body Interventional Radiology procedures.
\n
• Prepare procedure rooms, equipment, and sterile fields while maintaining strict sterile technique.
\n
• Monitor and interpret hemodynamic data throughout procedures.
\n
• Continuously monitor patient ECG and blood pressure, documenting findings and communicating changes to the physician.
\n
• Prepare patients and procedural access sites using sterile technique.
\n
• Maintain accurate procedural documentation and inventory management.
\n
• Assist during emergency situations and participate in code response as directed.
\n
• Educate radiography students in the clinical setting when applicable.
\n
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing department education.
\n
• Rotate through required weekday, weekend, and holiday call schedules.
\n

Qualifications\n

\n
• Minimum 2 years of recent Interventional Radiology experience required.
\n
• Current ARRT certification required.
\n
• Current BLS certification required.
\n
• ACLS preferred.
\n
• Experience with both Neuro IR and Body/Vascular IR strongly preferred.
\n
• Strong experience with:\n
  \n
  • Cerebral angiography
  \n
  • Cerebral coiling procedures
  \n
  • Stroke intervention
  \n
  • Carotid artery stenting
  \n
  • Kyphoplasty
  \n
  • Spine procedures
  \n
\n
• Knowledge of hemodynamic monitoring and advanced sterile procedural techniques.
\n
• Experience with EPIC electronic medical records preferred.
\n
• Agency must provide a current radiation badge; the facility does not supply radiation badges.
\n
