Job Title: Mammography Tech

Shift: 5X8 ( 8:30am to 5:00 pm)
Duration: 13 WEEKS
Preferred Qualification: ARRT Credentialed in Breast Mammography
Requirements:
- \t
- Associate Degree in Radiologic Technology (AAS) or equivalent \t
- Active New York State license/registration (or eligibility to obtain) \t
- ARRT certification in Mammography \t
- Minimum of one year of progressive technical experience \t
- Current CPR certification \t
- Must successfully complete pre-employment health clearance
Key Responsibilities:
- \t
- Perform mammography and stereotactic breast procedures under the direction of a radiologist \t
- Greet patients, explain procedures, and prepare them for examinations \t
- Position patients appropriately and utilize proper exposure techniques to obtain high-quality diagnostic images \t
- Maintain mammography quality standards in accordance with the ACR Mammography QA/QC Manual and Hologic Selenia Dimensions QC Manual \t
- Ensure compliance with MQSA continuing education requirements \t
- Accurately document patient information in the Radiology Information System (RIS) for billing and record-keeping purposes \t
- Support departmental operations and perform additional duties as needed to ensure exceptional patient care and service quality
