**Exciting Opportunity for a Medical Lab Technologist - Weekend Night Shift**\n\n**Job Description:**\n- Join a dynamic Laboratory Department as a Medical Lab Technologist!\n- Embrace the thrill of working weekend night shifts and make a tangible impact in patient care.\n- Seek an experienced, independent, and confident lab generalist ready to excel in a Critical Access Hospital setting.\n \n**Key Responsibilities:**\n- Perform routine and complex laboratory testing across all core lab departments.\n- Analyze, verify, and report test results, including critical values.\n- Prioritize testing and manage workflow effectively during night shifts.\n- Conduct phlebotomy and specimen processing as needed.\n- Maintain, operate, and troubleshoot advanced laboratory instrumentation.\n- Execute and document quality control, calibrations, maintenance, and corrective actions.\n- Utilize Laboratory Information Systems and Cerner EHR for accurate documentation and reporting.\n- Communicate effectively with Emergency Department providers and nursing staff.\n- Support urgent and emergent testing needs, including blood bank requirements.\n- Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, quality, and patient care standards.\n \n**Requirements:**\n- Degree in Medical Laboratory Science or related field with completed clinical training.\n- Minimum of five years of recent hospital laboratory experience strongly preferred.\n- Strong generalist experience required; must have previous successful travel assignment experience.\n- Experience working independently during night or weekend shifts.\n- Previous Critical Access Hospital or rural hospital experience strongly preferred.\n- Recent hands-on experience with QuidelOrtho Vitros 7600 and/or Vitros 5600 required.\n- Certification: ASCP MLS/MT or AMT required; AHA BLS certification required.\n \n**Skills:**\n- Ability to work independently on weekend night shifts.\n- Confident functioning as the primary lab resource during weekend coverage.\n- Strong critical thinking, prioritization, and problem-solving skills.\n- Capable of managing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.\n- Excellent communication skills with clinical teams and laboratory leadership.\n \n**Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):**\nAt CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
