Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated Electrician Helper to support electrical work on an active project in Belle Chasse, LA. This role is ideal for someone with basic electrical experience who is eager to learn, dependable, safety-focused, and able to assist journeyman electricians with daily tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with bending and installing conduit under the supervision of an electrician
- Help read and follow electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instructions
- Support general electrical installation, maintenance, and repair work
- Operate man-lifts and other equipment safely (certification is a plus)
- Work closely with the electrical team to complete tasks efficiently and safely
Skills & Qualifications:
- Some experience with conduit bending (preferred)
- Ability to read basic electrical schematics and blueprints
- Able to work safely at heights and operate lifts
- Experience operating a scissor lift is a plus
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
Schedule:
- Begins as 5x8s (Monday–Friday, 8-hour days)
- May transition to 6x8s depending on project needs
