Preventative Maintenance Technician

Position SummaryThe Preventive Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing scheduled maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and machinery operate safely, efficiently, and reliably. This role focuses on equipment inspections, servicing and troubleshooting to reduce downtime and extend asset lifespan.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerform routine preventive maintenance on equipment and machinery according to established schedules.
Inspect mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems to identify wear, damage, or potential failures.
Clean, lubricate, adjust, and replace parts as needed to maintain operational performance.
Assist in diagnosing minor equipment issues and recommend corrective actions.
Monitor equipment performance and report abnormalities or safety concerns to the supervisor.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized manner.
Follow company safety policies, lockout/tagout procedures, and OSHA regulations.
Support maintenance team with repairs during unplanned downtime when required.
Communicate effectively with operations, production, and facilities teams.
