Job Description: LEAD Staffing is currently seeking experienced Pipe Welders for a project in Fort Myers, FL . Welder MUST be able to pass the welding skills test if they don’t have welding certification.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder (5 Years or more).
• Stick - 6G Pipe Welding, Carbon Steel and copper, experience required.
• They will do a Weld test if you don not have a welding certification.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
• Must have a valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation.
• All tools of the trade & PPE.
• Strong attention to details.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work in demanding environments.

Responsibilities:

• Stick - 6G Pipe Welding, Carbon Steel and copper, experience required.
• Strong knowledge of pipe systems and their components.

• Proficiency in using various tools and equipment for welding.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines.
• Maintain and calibrate welding equipment to ensure optimal performance and consistent weld quality.
• Adherence to all welding safety regulations and procedures.
• Proper use of safety gear.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• You will also be required to help out if other guys need help installing hangers, hanging pipe or getting material.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
