Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs) and Behavior Technicians are responsible for implementing individualized behavior-analytic programs as designed by our supervisory team. Services are provided in home, school, clinic, and community settings across the Honolulu and Windward areas.
Primary Responsibilities Include:
- Delivering 1:1 ABA services using evidence-based methods (e.g., DTT, NET, VB, PRT, RFT).
- Implementing Skill-Based Treatment (SBT) and components of the Practical Functional Assessment (PFA) model (Level 2 training provided to all staff; Level 3–4 training provided to providers who demonstrate interest and promise—paid in full by the company).
- Running group-based skill-building sessions for 4–7 participants when qualified.
- Collecting and recording data using company-issued iPads.
- Collaborating with BCBAs, supervisors, and families.
- Maintaining professionalism, punctuality, and reliability in all service settings.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma (some college preferred).
- Active RBT certification or enrollment in an RBT course.
- Current First Aid & BLS/CPR certifications (within the last 6 months).
- Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, vehicle insurance/safety/registration.
- Reliable phone, computer, and internet access.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- At least one year working with children (preferred).
- Experience with ABA programs (DTT, VB, PECS, PRT, RFT, SBT) preferred but not required—training provided.
- Access to military installations is a plus, not required.
2. Salary Range
- Field-Based RBT Services: $21.00–$27.00 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated competency.
- Group Session Rate: Qualified RBTs independently running group sessions (4–7 participants) following BCBA-designed curriculum receive $30.00 per hour for group-session time only.
- All other direct service hours remain at the base rate ($21.00–$27.00).
Positions typically average 30 hours/week, with opportunities up to 40 hours/week. Availability Monday–Friday from 8:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. is required; some Saturday work may be needed depending on client needs.
3. Breakdown of Benefits
For qualifying providers based on hours worked:
