About This Organization



CEFC is a church with humble beginnings and a bold mission. In April of 1985, twenty-one charter members gathered in the community room of a local nursing home with a simple desire: to worship Christ and reach their community with the gospel. From those early days, God has faithfully grown CEFC both numerically and spiritually. What began as a small gathering now includes a large campus in Carlisle and additional campuses in Mount Holly and Mechanicsburg. Each location reflects God’s continued provision and an opportunity to reach out to others with the love and truth of Christ.

The heartbeat of CEFC has always been to meet and love people where they are and help them continue or begin a journey in and through Christ. Everything we do flows from our vision: All of Life for Christ. We believe that following Jesus transforms not only Sunday mornings, but families, friendships, workplaces, communities, friendships and the world. CEFC is passionate about helping people can encounter Christ, grow in faith, and serve others.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team in the development and growth of a strong Life Group ministry at the Carlisle Campus
• Recruit, train and develop Life Group coaches and leaders
• Form and maintain Life Groups
• Mobilize and encourage people to engage in life-on-life discipleship in the context of Christian community
• Develop and maintain an annual ministry plan that ensures continuous improvement and growth 
• Perform other pastoral responsibilities including teaching, baptisms, weddings, and funerals  
• Provide input to the development of the annual budget and oversee budget execution for Life Groups ministry at the Carlisle Campus
