Porter

The Porter plays a key role in maintaining the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of our apartment community. This position ensures that all common areas, grounds, and facilities are clean, orderly, and well-maintained, helping create a positive environment for residents and visitors.

• Maintain cleanliness of all common areas, including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, laundry rooms, and all community spaces.

• Perform daily groundskeeping tasks such as picking up trash, sweeping sidewalks, and maintaining exterior areas.

• Assist maintenance staff with light repairs and unit turnover tasks as needed.

• Clean and prepare vacant units for new residents.

• Remove trash and debris from dumpsters and compactor areas.

• Monitor property conditions and report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisor.

• Support resident satisfaction by maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

• Ensure proper use and storage of cleaning supplies and equipment.

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

• Previous experience in custodial, janitorial, maintenance or groundskeeping work preferred (property management experience a plus).

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks throughout the day.

• Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and safety.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Valid Driver's License required.
