Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Orthopedic-Neurology unit. This position requires expertise in managing orthopedic patients and the use of PCA Pumps. Ideal candidates will have a solid background in telemetry, but RNs will not be required to read telemetry strips as it is monitored remotely.
Responsibilities- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing orthopedic and neurosurgery procedures.
- Administer IV fluids and manage PCA pumps.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient care tech duties related to vital signs, ADLs, and Foley catheter removal.
- Participate in departmental orientation and standard procedures.
- BLS certification required.
- Experience with orthopedic patients and PCA Pumps is mandatory.
- Previous experience in an acute care setting preferred.
