Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Radiation Therapist to join the Radiation Oncology department in Dubuque, IA. The ideal candidate will be proficient in operating advanced radiation therapy equipment and committed to delivering high-quality patient care.

Duties

• Administer radiation therapy treatments as prescribed by radiation oncologists.
• Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including TrueBeam and TomoTherapy units.
• Accurately document treatment sessions using Aria charting system.
• Monitor patient responses and report any adverse reactions or concerns.
• Collaborate with the oncology team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Equipment & Charting Systems:

• Machines: TrueBeam and TomoTherapy units
• Charting: Aria

Qualifications:

• Valid Iowa Radiation Therapist license (must be obtained before start date)
• Proven experience with TrueBeam and TomoTherapy preferred
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills

Required Certifications: 

• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• Valid Iowa Radiation Therapist license
