Role Mission
The mission for a Kurz panel shop technician is to accurately produce and construct industrial control panels in accordance to the provided electrical schematics and electrical codes.

Key Job Responsibilities

Panel building and wiring.
Pick equipment orders from inventory.
Pack equipment orders for shipping.
Process, ship, and sometimes deliver equipment orders to customers.
Receive and stock parts.
AutoCAD drawings - modify existing and new designs from scratch.
Track parts and orders from Work Orders in NetSuite.
Research technical information about equipment for design efforts.

Competencies

High School Diploma is required. Technical Certification or Associate Degree in Electrical or related field is preferred .
Understanding of electrical theory and strong mechanical aptitude and skills are a must.
Proficient with hand and power tools.
Familiarity with various brands of industrial control components such as circuit breakers, motor starters, AC and DC drives, control panel devices, PLC's, etc.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, specifically Word and Excel.
Familiarity with Oracle NetSuite, AutoCAD, and PLC/HMI/Drive programing is not required but a plus. Training will be provided.
Must be a self-starter and able to work independently.
Ability to wear the necessary PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
