Ophthalmic Technician

We are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team and assist ophthalmologists in delivering exceptional eye care. In this role, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including:

• Taking patient histories
• Conducting visual and diagnostic tests
• Maintaining and operating ophthalmic equipment
• Supporting patient care throughout their visit

• Ophthalmology
• Retina
• Patient Care
• Visual Diagnostics

• Education: High School Diploma or GED required
• Certifications: Not required, but COA or COT certification is a plus and can increase earning potential
• Experience with Optos or ophthalmic cameras preferred
• Familiarity with Nextemp software is an added advantage
• Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waterford, CT.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $27.00/hr.
