Job DescriptionWe are seeking an Ophthalmic Technician to join our team and assist ophthalmologists in delivering exceptional eye care. In this role, you will perform a variety of clinical and administrative tasks, including:
- Taking patient histories
- Conducting visual and diagnostic tests
- Maintaining and operating ophthalmic equipment
- Supporting patient care throughout their visit
- Ophthalmology
- Retina
- Patient Care
- Visual Diagnostics
- Education: High School Diploma or GED required
- Certifications: Not required, but COA or COT certification is a plus and can increase earning potential
- Experience with Optos or ophthalmic cameras preferred
- Familiarity with Nextemp software is an added advantage
- Positive attitude and strong interpersonal skills
