Description

This position involves layout, wiring, and mounting of hydraulics, electronics, and PTO's on custom truck bodies on trucks.

Setting up and operate machines that will cut, bend, saw, punch steel into custom parts needed for body mounting.

Ability to use overhead chain hoists, forklifts, handcarts, and other types of hand and power tools.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Six months experience with heavy installation preferably on vehicles with a basic understanding of hydraulics, PTO, frames, pumps, electrical controls and wiring.

Basic math to set up and operate machines accurately, measure and problem solve.

Preferred experience with operating a hand plasma and wire feed welding.

Ability to read work orders/ blueprints/ and other measuring devices such as tape measure, caliper, and micrometer.

Must be able to pick, push, and move objects up to 50 lbs and ability to bend, twist, carry, work overhead, kneel, crouch, and climb.

Must be able to stand on a concrete floor wearing steel toed shoes throughout the shift.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of LAKE CRYSTAL, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
