What You’ll Do

As our Property Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring accurate, timely financial reporting and supporting the financial health of our properties. You will:

• Manage day-to-day accounting for assigned property portfolio(s), including bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Monitor property cash flow
• Review and analyze variances, providing meaningful insights to property managers and leadership
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and reconciliation process
• Monitor lease activity, verifying rent rolls and ensuring compliance with lease terms
• Assist with year-end audits and tax-related documentation
• Partner closely with operations teams to streamline processes and enhance financial performance

What We’re Looking For

You’re the ideal candidate if you are:

• Experienced: 2–3 years of accounting experience, ideally within property management, real estate, or a related industry
• Technically Skilled: Proficient with accounting software, Excel-savvy, and comfortable working with large data sets
• Analytical & Organized: You bring a sharp eye for detail, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to prioritize in a multifaceted role
• Collaborative: You communicate clearly and enjoy working with cross-functional teams
• Proactive: You take initiative, own your work, and continuously look for ways to improve processes
• Education: Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required
