Job Summary:
\n The Cat Scan Technologist performs computer tomography procedures and related techniques, producing sectional and three-dimensional images for interpretation. They assist with interventional and therapeutic procedures, ensuring patient safety and adherence to protocols.

Required Qualifications:
\n • Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and radiological positioning of the human body.
\n • Understanding of mechanical attributes of CT software and hardware.
\n • Thorough knowledge of PACS system.
\n • Maintains CEU Credits.
\n • ARRT (CT) certification within twelve months of hire.
\n • American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification within three months of hire.
\n • Graduate of a Radiologic Technologist program.
\n • High School diploma or equivalent.
\n • NJ DEP Diagnostic Radiography License.
\n • ARRT Certified R.T.(R) license.

Preferred Qualifications:
\n • Six months of CT experience.
\n • Knowledge of Epic and HIS/RIS systems.
\n • ARRT certified R.T. (CT) license.

Additional Information:
\n • M-F, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, 5x8s.
\n • Holidays required.
\n • No on-call.
\n • At least 2 years of CT experience required (5 years preferred).
\n • Experience with GE Equipment, Epic EMR, and Fuji PACS required.
\n • Ability to work in a busy ED and maintain workflow.
\n • Must be willing to work in dual modalities (X-ray & CT).
