Job Summary

The Workers’ Compensation Associate Attorney will represent employers and insurers before the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court, managing hearings, depositions, and case strategy from start to finish. Responsibilities

  • Represent clients in hearings before the Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court
  • Conduct depositions, mediations, and settlement negotiations
  • Draft motions, pleadings, and case summaries
  • Analyze medical and employment documentation to support case strategy
  • Communicate regularly with clients and internal teams regarding case progress
  • Manage an independent caseload while maintaining high ethical and professional standards

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) and admission to the Rhode Island Bar (in good standing)
  • 1–5 years of experience in workers’ compensation or related litigation
  • Strong courtroom presence and ability to handle hearings independently
  • Excellent communication, organization, and time-management skills
  • Sound professional judgment and a commitment to quality client service
