Portfolio Strategist – Wealth Management

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Portfolio Strategist to join our client's wealth management team. In this role, you will work closely with the Director of Portfolio Management and the Investment Committee to support the development, analysis, and implementation of investment strategies across client portfolios. What You’ll Do

  • Support the ongoing management of the firm’s investment models and portfolio strategies.
  • Conduct investment and market research, analyzing asset classes, economic trends, and portfolio risk/return profiles.
  • Assist with portfolio construction, asset allocation analysis, and performance monitoring.
  • Prepare detailed portfolio performance reports, market commentary, and investment insights for internal and client use.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers on trade execution, account reviews, and model updates.
  • Organize data and maintain investment research files, tools, and dashboards.
  • Contribute to Investment Committee materials, research presentations, and strategic discussions.


What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in investment research and portfolio management.
  • Proficiency in Excel; comfort working with financial data sets.
  • Analytical mindset with high attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills—able to clearly explain complex financial concepts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Progress toward CFA or CIMA (or interest in pursuing) preferred.


Preferred Skills (Not Required)

  • Experience with financial modeling, investment analysis, or academic case studies.
  • Familiarity with Bloomberg, Python, or portfolio analytics tools.
  • Exposure to wealth management, trading support, or investment research settings.
