Job Description
As an Industrial Electrician, you will play a crucial role in installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures at various client job sites within a 75-mile radius of Pulaski, TN. You will ensure all work complies with relevant codes and standards.
Responsibilities- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Repair or replace wiring, equipment, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble, install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, appliances, apparatus, and fixtures.
- Test electrical systems and the continuity of circuits using devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters to ensure system safety and compatibility.
- Use a variety of tools and equipment including power construction equipment, measuring devices, and test equipment such as ammeters and test lamps.
- Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
- Inspect electrical systems, equipment, and components to identify hazards, defects, and the need for adjustments or repairs, ensuring compliance with codes.
- Diagnose malfunctions in systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate causes of breakdowns and correct problems.
- Work at heights from ladders or lifts when required.
- Possess an electrical diploma from an accredited technical school or have 3-5 years of experience working as an Industrial Electrician.
- Proficient in electrical, industrial, repair, installation, and wiring tasks.
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and perform electrical troubleshooting.
- Experience with hand and power tools, electrical maintenance, and electrical components.
- CE license for the state of Tennessee preferred.

Work EnvironmentThe Industrial Service Team begins and ends each day at the company office in Pulaski, TN. Team members travel to client sites in company vehicles driven by full-time employees. While 85% of the work is within a 75-mile radius of Pulaski, employees should be willing to travel for any out-of-state work if required. The work hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, with overtime as needed.
