Director of Nursing DON

A skilled nursing facility is seeking an experienced Director of Nursing to lead the clinical department. The ideal candidate has strong regulatory knowledge, leadership ability, and a passion for high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all nursing operations and clinical systems

• Ensure compliance with all regulations and CMS requirements

• Lead survey readiness and quality improvement programs

• Mentor, support, and develop nursing leadership and staff

• Collaborate with the Administrator on operational goals and staffing plans

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in Illinois

• DON or ADON experience in long-term care

• Strong leadership and communication skills
