Topaz, a respected Nursing Home Financial Services company serving multiple long-term care facilities, is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Specialist to join our team in Mill Basin, Brooklyn. The ideal candidate will be proactive, analytical, and comfortable managing purchasing operations in a fast-paced healthcare finance environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and process purchase orders for nursing home facilities.

  • Source and maintain vendor relationships to ensure best pricing and quality.

  • Review invoices, packing slips, and contracts for accuracy and compliance.

  • Track and manage inventory levels and reorder supplies as needed.

  • Collaborate with facility administrators and department heads on procurement needs.

  • Maintain detailed purchasing and vendor records.

  • Assist with cost control initiatives and identify potential savings opportunities.

Qualifications
  • Experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain (healthcare or multi-facility experience required).

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and purchasing software systems.

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

  • Team-oriented and dependable.
