American Traveler is seeking an Inpatient Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel assignment at a rural acute care hospital, with a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

- Rural acute care hospital setting \n
- Unit includes 26 Med/Surg beds, 5 ICU beds, and 20 ED beds \n
- Day shift schedule: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday \n
- No weekend shifts required \n
- EMR: Epic \n
- Support staff includes 2 PRN PTAs and a Rehab Tech \n

- Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required \n
- BLS certification required (AHA only) \n
- Active PT license required if applicable \n
- New graduates with acute hospital clinical rotation experience will be considered \n
- \n
- Responsibilities include evaluating patients using specialized testing procedures to assess strength, range of motion, coordination, perception, sensation, ambulation, transfers, bed mobility, and rehab potential \n
- Develops individualized PT plans of care aligned with short- and long-term goals \n
- Supervises PTA team members and meets regularly to discuss patient progress and goal-setting \n
- Documentation must adhere to APTA standards of care \n
- Applies evidence-based practice by incorporating current research to support clinical interventions \n
- Participates in department meetings, educational sessions, and scheduling adjustments as needed \n
