Optometrist

Part-Time | Patient-Centered Practice | $75-80/hour / Direct Hire

Ready to love what you do again? We’re partnering with a growing, optometry-led practice in Rochester that’s redefining patient-centered eye care and they’re looking for a part-time Optometrist to join their team.

Schedule:

Part-Time (Rochester), Flexible Schedule – You choose your 3 days/week

• 2 days at the Greece office + 1 day at a nearby Rochester location
• Offices open Monday–Friday, 8:30am–7pm

Compensation & Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $75-80/hr
• Professional liability insurance
• Paid holiday (if it falls on your patient care day)
• Relocation assistance available if you're moving to the Buffalo area.

Patient Load: Approx. 20–21 patients/day (3 exams/hour + follow-ups for medical/contact lens cases) with technician provided.

Requirements:

• Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree
• Current NYS Optometry License (or eligibility to obtain)
• New graduates are welcome to apply. Must be licensed to practice in New York State (NYS).
