Position Overview:
Our client is seeking a Junior Project Manager to support multiple active construction projects. This field-heavy role is ideal for a detail-oriented, organized professional with 1–3 years of experience in residential construction or project coordination. The Junior PM will oversee daily jobsite activities, coordinate subcontractors, track project progress, and ensure high-quality delivery for clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage daily construction activities across multiple active jobsites - primarily on construction sites (local)
- Update schedules, logs, and documentation in BuilderTrend or similar project management software.
- Conduct daily jobsite visits to monitor progress and address issues.
- Schedule subcontractors and trades to maintain workflow.
- Conduct walkthroughs, inspections, punch lists, and warranty follow-ups.
- Review purchase orders and assist with basic cost tracking.
- Coordinate and schedule city/county inspections.
- Provide weekly project status updates to clients.
- Maintain accurate project records and communication notes.
- Walk jobs with clients during key stages of the build.
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in residential construction, project coordination, or related field.
- Comfortable working on jobsites daily.
- Proficiency in BuilderTrend or similar project management software.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and sometimes unpredictable construction environment.
- Driver’s license, clean record and ability to use a company truck for jobsite travel.
Work Schedule:
- Monday to Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- In-office day on Tuesdays for team updates, warranty reviews, and project planning.
