\nWe are seeking a Multimodality Radiologic Tech to join our team! CT or mammography certification required, experience and certification in multiple modalities preferred. \nABOUT RADIOLOGY AT PORTER MEDICAL CENTER
\n The Radiology Department performs 25,000 imaging exams annually using CT Philips ingenuity 64 slice CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and Hologic 3D for mammography. CT and general x-ray services are available 24/7, with ultrasound and MRI performed on weekdays with weekend ultrasound call coverage.
JOB DESCRIPTION
\nSeeking experienced CT/Mammo/Rad Tech with excellent customer service skills.
\nCross training into other modalities and certification (based on Radiology Department needs) is required, and existing CT or mammo certification is required.
\nThe Radiologic Technologist is responsible for performing routine, trauma, intraoperative, radiological imaging.
\nIn addition to competitive pay, this position is eligible for the following differentials:
\nEvening $3/hour
\nNight $5/hour
\nWeekend $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening or night differentials)
\nPer Diem $2/hour (in addition to any applicable evening, night, and weekend differentials)
\nJOB QUALIFICATIONS
\nSatisfactory completion of a formal radiological technology program in a CAHEA approved school and certification by the ARRT or its equivalent.
\nCurrent Vermont unrestricted State license to practice radiologic technology.
\nDemonstrated competence as a licensed professional by maintaining professional growth and development to keep abreast in Radiology Tech field.
\nMaintains certification in Tech’s special modality.
\nCT or mammography certification required.
\nSHIFTS/HOURS
\nShifts vary based on department needs.
