Shift Nurse - Step-Down Care Unit Location
This position is located in a facility in New York.
Assignment DurationThis is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleShift hours are from 07:00 PM to 07:00 AM.
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a dedicated shift nurse for our 24-bed Step-Down Care Unit (SCU). The ideal candidate will provide care for patients requiring intermediate care between ICU and medical/surgical levels, including those recovering from post-cardiac procedures, stable ventilator weans, and telemetry monitoring.
Responsibilities- Provide care to patients requiring close monitoring and support.
- Manage telemetry and post-surgical recovery for diverse patient needs.
- Demonstrate strong organizational and multitasking skills in a high-census environment.
- Utilize the CenTrack system to manage and silence alarms effectively.
- Collaborate with the White Team for accessible support for cardiac patients.
- Must have a valid nursing license in the state of New York.
- Experience in telemetry and post-surgical recovery is preferred.
- Ability to work efficiently in a high-capacity environment.
