American Traveler is hiring an Echo Technologist with 1+ year of experience for a 13-week travel contract in Beckley, WV, requiring RDCS or RCS certification and the ability to perform pediatric echos, TEE, and carotid studies independently.
Details- Located in a 300-bed acute care hospital on the 1st floor Cardiovascular Ultrasound unit
- Serves patients of all ages, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
- Echo Tech role performing echocardiography and related cardiovascular ultrasound studies
- Equipment includes Canon Ultrasound and Philips systems
- EMR/imaging systems include Meditech, Fuji PACS, and Synapse
- 4x10-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- 36 hours per week with call requirements of approximately 10 days per month, including evenings and weekends
- Every other weekend on-call, with 8-12 hour weekend call shifts
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an Echo Technologist
- RDCS or RCS certification required
- AHA BLS required
- Must be able to perform pediatric echos, TEE, and carotid studies
- Must be able to work independently
- State licensure/certification required if applicable to practice as an Echo Tech in WV
- SSN and date of birth required for consideration
- All required certifications must be obtained prior to the start of the assignment
- Orientation is held weekly on Mondays
- Scrub colors are Royal Blue or Red; t-shirts and hoodies are not permitted
- Candidates must reside 60 or more miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay
- Candidates who have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months are not eligible
- Candidates who are employed full-time elsewhere are not eligible
- First-time travelers will be considered provided all requirements are met
